About

My Path

to a life of liberty

Hello.

I'm Julie Danskin - speaker, mentor & navigator for entrepreneurs.
I have been a leader in my company and owner of my own successful in-home business for over 30 years and now I am passing on my wisdom to others through public speaking and strategic resources. I also offer an entrepreneurial path for women who want to create a life of liberty in their own lives.

Passing it On:
From diapers and dreams, to leadership, I’ve learned more than a few things on my journey. When I look back on that woman, sitting at her kitchen table and reading the opening chapter of Mary Kay's autobiography, I can hardly believe all of the gifts starting my own business would offer me and my family. Now it's my passion to offer wisdom and inspiration that may spark others into owning their own businesses. And for women looking for a place to get started, while playing alongside some of the most successful in-home entrepreneurs in the world, there's a place for you on my team!

(Yes that's me in the photo). All new adventures begin with a leap of faith.

Here's to your next BIG adventure.  XOXO Julie

My Story:

Diapers and dreams:
Husband, Jon and I with our new son Erik. I had just finished my Masters in Public Health, was working part-time, and was President of MN Dietetic Association.

I was at the top of the career ladder, wanting more, without wanting to sacrifice time with my growing family.

A turning point:
I read Mary Kay’s autobiography following a skincare party and became immediately hooked with idea of becoming a female entrepreneur, without having to sacrifice being a Mom to my little boy.

Plot thickens:
I leave my successful corporate job to “go sell lipstick.” My friends are hesitant, my co-workers think I’ve gone crazy, while my husband and little boy cheer me on!

Pits to the Podium:
After more than a few hiccups and false starts, I become a pink car driver and a leader in my company. The setbacks I faced at this time would help show me some of the greatest lessons in entrepreneurial mindset.

Education:
I begin to dream even bigger for my family.  To support my goals, I become a committed student of personal growth and development.

A new addition:
My youngest, Emma, was born the same year my second career car was delivered. Erik would drive a pink car to his senior prom and Emma would pass her drivers test in one. And I was living my dream as a mom and a successful entrepreneur.

Gathering steam:
I am featured in print and in a company video. A film crew moved in to my home for 3 days and my kids told their friends they were filming an episode of MacGyver.

Fun and partnership:
Here Jon and I are in the French Riviera. As a result of my business, Jon and I would build our dream house, take luxury trips around the world, and still be there for the kid’s sports games and school activities.

Leadership:
My team would continue to grow and I would see first-hand the difference women could create in their own lives through their own independent businesses.
